While in residency, Dr. Kahn was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society which recognizes high educational achievement. During her fellowship, Dr. Kahn served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Cancer-Related Population Sciences supported by the National Cancer Institute for her work in cancer care delivery, health equity, and health outcomes research. Upon graduation from fellowship, Dr. Kahn joined the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division at Columbia University Medical Center as an Oncology Instructor and Attending Physician in 2016. She is currently involved in patient care, clinical trials research, and health outcomes research. In June of 2018, Dr. Kahn obtained a Master of Science in Patient Oriented Research at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health.
