During his Residency at SIU, Dr. Coté was chosen as the principle resident to guide the transformation to a NCQA Certified Level 3 PCMH (Patient-Centered Medical Home). Upon graduation in 2010, he was awarded the Continuous Quality Improvement Award for his effort. Following his training, Dr. Coté joined the Internal & Family Medicine department at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic (MMC) where he has built a bustling Family Medicine Practice. Dr. Cotés’ passion for Analytics, Informatics, and Quality Improvement led to his appointment as Chief Medical Information Officer in 2011. He championed the MMC Internal & Family Medicine department’s transformation to a Level 3 NCQA Certified PCMH in 2013. He served as a Delegate for the state of Tennessee to the American Osteopathic Association Congress and consulted as a panelist at the EHRs Perfect Practice Summit in 2014.
