Dr. Laura J. West
Overview
Laura Joyce West, MD, is a specialist in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She also conducts advocacy work with a particular interest in promoting universal statewide newborn screening for severe combined immunodeficiency. Dr. West is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the Clinical Immunology Society, the Pennsylvania Allergy and Asthma Association, and the Greater Pittsburgh Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society.
