I was born and raised in Michigan, graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I received my medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. After three years of residency and eight years in practice in Lansing, Michigan, I moved to North Carolina in 2009. My favorite aspect of family medicine is the care of multiple generations in the same family. I am passionate about the treatment of diabetes. I am married to my beautiful wife and we have five children/step-children. I am an avid college sports fan, especially football and basketball.
