Overview
Dr. Perales is board certified Family Doctor. Prior to opening Live Well Family Medicine in Chandler, AZ she worked as a primary care physician and urgent care physician for the Maricopa Integrated Health System in Phoenix, AZ and for Kaiser Permanente in northern California. She completed her family practice residency training at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington where she was elected Chief Resident and received the Excellence in Community Award. She is married with two beautiful children and in her free time enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family.As a family doctor, Dr. Perales addresses complex chronic medical conditions as well as acute medical problems such as the common cold or acute back pain. She will also help you stay in optimal health.Our focus is treating each of our patients as a whole person and providing patient- centered, comprehensive, primary care for all ages. We listen to you, and we take our time in getting to know you, your medical history, and your health goals. Then we develop a treatment plan for you that we think will best suit your needs and goals.We provide well child visits, sports physicals, women's health care, complete physical exams, same day care for acute medical problems, minor office procedures, pre-operative evaluations, and management of chronic medical problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease.We enjoy practicing medicine and we enjoy our patients. We take your health concerns seriously - whether new and minor or ongoing and complex. Most importantly, we treat patients, not diagnoses.
