Overview
Anna Griffith, MD, is a hematologist specializing in malignant and benign hematology. She provides care for various blood disorders, including anemia, blood clots, hemophilia, sickle cell disease, thalassemia and thrombocytopenia.|She has clinical interests in anti-coagulation and blood clotting disorders.|“I love seeing patients and helping them better understand their blood disorders and treatment options,” Dr. Griffith says. That desire to help her patients and neighbors is what keeps her coming to work every day. “I’ve always felt that home is in central Pennsylvania,” she says.|She earned her medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Griffith completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in hematology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.|Dr. Griffith has published several papers and book chapters and participated in many research projects.|In 2017, she received the Bondurant Ehringhaus Award to recognize her superior research efforts as a resident. She also received the 2017 Farmer Award in recognition of her commitment to her patients.|In her free time, this Lewisburg native enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, hiking, camping, gardening and canoeing.
