Overview
As a child, I loved playing doctor with my Barbie dolls. That, combined with my passion for math and science, led me to medical school, and I have never looked back on that decision. It is such a privilege to work toward improving the lives of others. The best part of being a gastroenterologist is the opportunity to help patients with the longest organ system in their body—the digestive tract. Every patient is unique, and it’s important to me to understand each person’s story. I love all aspects of general gastroenterology and have special interests in women's health and colorectal cancer screening, with a growing focus on esophageal disorders. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and reading non-fiction.
