Overview
Dr. Edge, a National Merit Scholar and recipient of the Cambridge Scholarship, is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He also holds a masters degree in organic chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was awarded a Department of Energy Research Fellowship. He received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed his internship, residency and a fellowship in gastroenterology there as well. Dr. Edge previously served as a research associate at the Atlanta VA Hospital and as a data abstractor at the AIDS Research Consortium of Atlanta. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and joined the Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2004.
