George V. Russell, MD, MBA, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic trauma. He serves as chief of orthopaedic trauma in the UPMC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and he completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at University Hospital at the University of Cincinnati. He completed orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Harborview Medical Center at the University of Washington. Dr. Russell’s clinical interests include orthopaedic trauma, acetabular fractures, and obesity and its impact on the traumatized patient.
