He then completed his residency training in OB/GYN at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, where he served as an Administrative Chief Resident. From there, Dr. Harris continued his training at Duke University Medical Center to complete his fellowship in REI. During this time, Dr. Harris was recognized for his excellence in research, education, and leadership. Dr. Harris is an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) and serves as the associate program director of the SGF Jones Institute fellowship for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He also serves as the director of research for the SGF Southern Virginia region. As a researcher, Dr. Harris has contributed to numerous publications and presentations exploring such topics as ovarian reserve testing, assisted reproductive technology (ART) outcomes, and reproductive epidemiology. Dr. Harris is committed to evidence-based fertility practice, continuous improvement, and advancing the field through research and innovation. In his clinical practice, Dr. Harris enjoys helping patients build their families and plan their reproductive future. His clinical interests include fertility preservation, oncofertility, third-party reproduction, and caring for patients with diminished ovarian reserve.
