Dr. Palchak has bachelor's and master's degrees in biology from UC Irvine. He received his doctorate in medicine from St. Louis University, did a residency in internal medicine at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, then medical oncology fellowship at UC San Diego. He established an independent medical oncology practice in Arroyo Grande in 1994 and has practiced continuously in the south county since that date.
