Pardis Hosseinzadeh, M.D., M.S. is a physician in Gynecology and Obstetrics. She earned her medical degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in her hometown of Isfahan, Iran. Dr. Hosseinzadeh completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a Post-doctoral research fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Subsequently, Dr. Hosseinzadeh completed a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, where she received training in all aspects of fertility care, including treating both female and male infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, polycystic ovarian syndrome, premature ovarian insufficiency, and fertility preservation. She has also earned a Master of Science in clinical and translational science from the university. Dr. Hosseinzadeh believes that nothing is more important than family, and is passionate about helping her patients build the family of their dreams. Dr. Segars received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and earned his M.D. from Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a clinical fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Segars performed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Laboratory of Molecular Growth Regulation at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. He joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2015. Before coming to Johns Hopkins, Dr. Segars was head of the Unit on Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Segars has published more than 160 peer-reviewed research articles and serves on the editorial boards of Reproductive Sciences, Molecular Human Reproduction, Seminars in Reproductive Medicine, and Fertility and Sterility.
