Dr. Edward N. Hanley

As an orthopaedic spine surgeon, I specialize in all aspects of spine surgery, including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar. My special interest include spinal degenerative disorders and motion preservation technology with artificial disc replacement.  I have published many peer reviewed articles and book chapters in spine surgery.  My interest include  minimally invasive techniques and providing  concierge treatment plans to optimize individual patient outcomes . I have completed two spine fellowships and have had the pleasure of treating patients in the Lake Norman area since 2009.  I am actively involved in product development for the enhancement of spine surgery and improved patient outcomes.I am a member of the honorary Cervical Spine Research Society, North American Spine Society and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.  I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling and participating in fitness activities.
