Dr. William P. Shield

Dr. Bland is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Dr. Bland earned his medical degree at the Duke University School of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed a pediatric orthopaedics and scoliosis fellowship at the Rady Children’s Hospital/University of California, San Diego. Dr. Piazza earned his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He then completed an internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Penn State College of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He also earned a master’s degree in biomedical engineering at Duke University.
