Dr. Buckmire earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Buckmire completed training in general surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and finished his colorectal fellowship at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
