Dr. Ashleigh Fontenot

Dr. Sarah Shaw earned her medical degree while attending West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. She went on to complete her general surgery osteopathic residency through the Geisinger Health System in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and her surgical critical care fellowship through Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Del. She is board-certified in general surgery.Dr. Shaw has worked in the areas of trauma and acute care surgery since 2021. He returned to the Dallas area to complete additional fellowship training in trauma surgical critical care through The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center-Parkland Memorial Hospital.Dr. Frotan's extensive clinical and research training includes general surgery, trauma, burns and surgical critical care. He has lectured and presented on topics ranging from the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery and thoracic trauma to vascular exposure trauma and abdominal wall reconstruction. He is a member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, Society of Critical Care Medicine and American Burn Association.
