Overview
Dr. Canio received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed his Internship, Residency and Fellowship at the Department of Internal Medicine and Division of Gastroenterology at the University of California at Davis Medical Center. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Canio has been in practice since 1997 and has been with Capitol G.I. since 2002. Dr. Canio sees patients in both our Carmichael and Roseville offices.
