Overview
Dr. Chan received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School, completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Wisconsin, and her Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Utah. Following fellowship she completed a Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at the University of Colorado/Children's Hospital Colorado.
Dr. Chan is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She is a member of the neuro-oncology team at Primary Children's Medical Center.
Dr. Chan's clinical interests include the care of children and young adults with brain and spine tumors. Dr. Chan's research interests are focused on the development of early phase clinical trials for children with central nervous system tumors and the long-term care of patients who have survived these cancers.

He completed his Pediatric Residency and Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University where he also served as chief resident.In 2020 Dr. Dietz joined the faculty of the University of Utah, where he is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. Clinically, Dr. Dietz focuses on the care of pediatric and young adult patients with bone and soft tissue sarcoma, as well as children with retinoblastoma. He is the Associate Director of the Primary Children's Hospital Solid Tumor Program and leads the Comprehensive Retinoblastoma Program. Dr. Dietz is committed to delivering cutting edge clinical care, as well as providing patients with access to experimental therapeutics and discovery programs.�Dr. Dietz's research efforts include team science approaches to better understand the biology driving cancer progression and treatment resistance with a focus on translating this work into new therapies. He is a member of the Huntsman Cancer Institute's Experimental Therapeutics Program and actively involved in the development of early phase clinical trials through multiple cooperative consortia including the Children's Oncology Group, The Sunshine Project, the Pediatric Oncology Experimental Therapeutics Investigator's Consortium, and the Pediatric Early Phase Clinical Trial Network.
