Dr. Hammer earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland, School of Medicine followed by an Internship at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. He then completed his training with a residency in Ophthalmology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center which serves the greater Washington, DC Metro area.
