Dr. Jenifer E. Lee
Overview
Jenifer Lee, MD, is a cardiologist and is certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is director of medical student education and is a professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Boston City Hospital/Boston University Medical Center, followed by a cardiology fellowship at UPMC. Dr. Lee joined the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 1993. Her clinical interests include treating patients with all types of cardiovascular diseases, with a special emphasis on valvular heart disease and noninvasive imaging techniques. Dr. Lee is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a diplomate of the Council of Nuclear Cardiology and has a certificate of special competency in comprehensive adult echocardiography from the American Society of Echocardiography. She was inducted into the Academy of Master Educators at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2015.
