Dr. Esfandi believes that the care and well-being of the patient always comes first. Neurology issues are often quite complex, so understanding and responding to the patient’s experience throughout the diagnosis and treatment is paramount.Conditions he treats includes multiple sclerosis, neuroimmunological disorders of the central nervous system, transverse myelitis, optic neuritis, headache, therapeutic BOTOX injection for migraines, dizziness, seizures, stroke and TIA, gait instability, neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome and spinal degenerative disease.His education consists of: Neuroimmunology Fellowship/Multiple Sclerosis care at University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, Colorado. He has done his Neurology Residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and his Internal Medicine Internship at Yale/Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT and obtained his Medical degree at Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran.His prior work experience consists of being an Assistant Professor and Director of Multiple Sclerosis Division at Drexel University in Philadelphia PA and prior to that he was the Co-director of MS Center for Caring at Crozer Keystone Health System at Chester, PA.
