Dr. Whitworth earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He then completed his general surgery residency at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Whitworth has over 30 years of experience in general surgery. She graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with a specialization in Biotechnology.
