Dr. Golden received his undergraduate degree in zoology from Duke University. He subsequently completed all of his medical training (medical degree, Pediatrics residency and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship) at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Nationally, Dr. Golden is on the Editorial Advisory Board of The Journal of Pediatrics and Contemporary Pediatrics.
