I graduated from the Medical College at University in India and completed my residency program at UCI affiliated with Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield. I'm board-certified in Family Medicine. I specialize in managing patients with obesity and helping patients reduce the burden of weight-related comorbidities like pre-diabetes, diabetes, hypertension, obstructive sleep apnea, PCOS, and degenerative arthritis of the hip and knees by treating patients in a weight-centric manner. I have been with Dignity Health Medical Group-Bakersfield since 2014. I believe obesity is a chronic medical problem, and it should be treated comprehensively with diet counseling, exercise counseling, anti-obesity medication, and metabolic surgery if needed.
