Dr. Young is a life-long resident of Johnson City. A graduate of East Tennessee State University and the Quillen-Dishner College of Medicine, Dr. Young joined the Johnson City Eye Clinic in 1993. Dr. Young completed an internship at East Tennessee State University and a residency in ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Young is a medical doctor certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member in good standing of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons-Tennessee Chapter. Dr. Young practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a special interest in the treatment of diabetic patients.
