Overview
From the early days of high school, I knew my calling was in healthcare, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). That early experience shaped my deep belief in compassionate, patient-centered care. I went on to become a Registered Nurse in 2007, and after several years of hands-on nursing practice, I pursued my passion for mental health further by earning a Master of Science in Nursing in 2015.I am Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
My approach to mental health care is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I believe in empowering my patients by creating a warm, supportive environment where we can work together to achieve better mental well-being. With experience across various settings and a deep understanding of the challenges that individuals face, I am committed to providing care that is not only effective but also genuine and compassionate. Whether it's addressing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, or navigating life's transitions, I am here to help you find a path to healing and growth.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with family and friends—they are my greatest source of joy. I also find peace in painting, gardening, and camping, which allow me to reconnect with nature and creativity. When I need a quiet moment, you'll often find me reading, always eager to discover new stories and perspectives.
