Philosophy of care | I try to present all treatment options to you and then together we can reach a mutual decision as to your best course of treatment. | Why I entered medicine | Prior to becoming an orthopedic surgeon I was a civil engineer. I became an orthopedic surgeon as it allowed me to combine my interests in medicine, engineering and helping my fellow man. My father is a dentist, and I always enjoyed watching him care for patients. As long as I can remember, I always wanted to be a physician. My job is exciting and never boring. Forming long lasting bonds with patients makes my job one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. | Community involvement | I am involved in multiple charities including police and fire associations, cancer societies and education programs. I also do community outreach projects and make multiple radio show appearances to educate the community on health issues. | Personal interests | First and foremost, I spend time with my wife and our two children.
