At Duke Health, I am fortunate to be part of a world-class orthopaedic trauma and reconstruction surgery team that is committed to outstanding patient care. I specialize in fracture surgery, complex fracture-related infections, shoulder replacement for shoulder fractures, as well as direct anterior approach hip replacement for arthritis or previous hip fractures. I cherish the opportunity to be there for my patients during their time of most need. I chose orthopaedic trauma and reconstruction surgery because I have the unique opportunity to provide a solution to challenging problems every day as part of a multidisciplinary team. As an orthopaedic trauma surgeon, I meet many of my patients during the most difficult time of their lives. I am honored to be able to provide excellent surgical treatment for my patients in their time of need, but I am also humbled to lead the team that helps them through their recovery after surgery.
