Overview
Philosophy of care | As a graduate from LVHN's Family Medicine residency program, I had the opportunity to work with a program that is at the forefront of teaching and practicing Patient Centered Medical Home philosophies. It is important to me to connect with patients on a multitude of levels, both personally and clinically. I believe that relationship building and creating partnerships with patients is the foundation for good health. Involving patients in their health care decisions helps them become more engaged and is essential for a strong patient-physician relationship. | Why I entered medicine | The allure of a healthcare profession began very early in my young adulthood after taking an anatomy course in high school. I had the opportunity to work with a variety of healthcare providers and specialties at a local hospital in Bucks County with furthered my interest. I loved the pace, the continuous quest for knowledge, as well as getting to know people in ways that others may never get to know. I immediately realized that this was the right profession for me. | Community involvement | I am actively involved in my church community. I enjoy teaching and developing medical students to be physician leaders with passionate patient care who can accelerate change in our healthcare communities and medical profession. | Personal interests | I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. My two sons and husband are the highlight of my life. I enjoy international travel and experiencing new cultures and lifestyles.
