He completed his Pediatric Residency and Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University where he also served as chief resident.In 2020 Dr. Dietz joined the faculty of the University of Utah, where he is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. Clinically, Dr. Dietz focuses on the care of pediatric and young adult patients with bone and soft tissue sarcoma, as well as children with retinoblastoma. He is the Associate Director of the Primary Children's Hospital Solid Tumor Program and leads the Comprehensive Retinoblastoma Program.
