Dr. Melanie Ochalski
Overview
Melanie Ochalski, M.D. is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist. She earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Magee-Womens Hospital. Dr. Ochalski has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and review articles in many leading scientific journals, and has been invited to present at national meetings. She is the recipient of multiple scientific and teaching awards. Dr. Ochalski is currently a clinical assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Penn State College of Medicine and an assistant clinical professor at Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Ochalski is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the North American Menopause Society. Her interests include assisted reproductive technologies, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), ovulatory disorders and recurrent pregnancy loss. Dr. Ochalski joined Shady Grove Fertility in 2018 and sees patients at SGF’s Lancaster and York, PA offices.

Sally F. Vitez, M.D., earned her undergraduate degree with honors in Molecular Biology from Kenyon College. Following undergrad, she spent time in Arusha, Tanzania teaching high school students and volunteering in a local hospital. She then worked as a researcher at the National Institutes of Health prior to earning her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of Rutgers University. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University – New York Presbyterian Hospital where she was elected by faculty to serve as administrative chief resident. From there, she completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Vitez is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and board eligible in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). Her research interests include male fertility, preimplantation genetic testing, the impact of obesity and optimizing fertility treatment outcomes. He has also appeared on The Katie Couric Show in a segment highlighting male factor infertility and on CBS 3 Philadelphia, where he discussed technological advancements in fertility treatment. Originally from Monmouth County, New Jersey, Dr. Sasson is married with three children and enjoys yoga, spinning, hiking, and woodworking. Dr. Sasson is currently associate residency director of ob-gyn residents at Lankenau Hospital outside of Philadelphia. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Obstetrical Society of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Area Reproductive Endocrine Society.
