Overview
Dr. Ross was born in New York City, NY and graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University. He was awarded his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While in Philadelphia, he completed his internship in medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and dermatology residency at the Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Biology of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. After graduating, he was recruited as faculty at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was promoted to Assistant Professor of Dermatology. In this role, he devoted a significant portion of his time to oversee resident physicians’ clinical training in addition to caring for his own patients.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, lifetime member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society and member of the Gold Humanism Honors Society, Dr. Ross is active in the community. He has published dozens of peer-reviewed articles/chapters in medical journals and textbooks and has lectured as an invited speaker at local, national and international conferences regarding his research.
