Dr. Anne K. Glover

It is a true privilege to involve yourself in the care and well-being of others. I enjoy caring for multiple age groups within the same family and have found the bonds created to be very fulfilling. Whether it is prevention of illness, treatment of disease, or focusing on an emotional aspect of their personal life journey, I have always been honored to be involved. As the medical director of Duke Primary Care Brier Creek, I find my leadership role allows me to stay committed to all elements of the practice. I was born and raised in a small town in West Virginia. I attended both undergraduate and medical school at West Virginia University. I applied to medical school with a primary interest in forensic pathology; however, I quickly found patient interaction much more rewarding. I then chose a combined field in internal medicine and pediatrics. I have practiced medicine in North Carolina since 2002. After I moved to Durham, I was told I needed to choose light blue or dark blue, but have remained a true Mountaineer at heart. I am married with two energetic boys.
