Dr. Donald Shoenthal, MD is a medical doctor dedicated to providing quality care to his patients. He brings vitality and enthusiasm to his work at Genesis Medical Associates and has a passion for caring for the elderly. He is a leader in his organization and committed to serving his community. Dr. Donald Shoenthal is a faithful father, husband and church member.

One of his favorite things about family medicine is being able to provide a full scope of care to the patient from adolesence to older age. There are also many patients that have come to the practice as a result of their parents or grandparents recommending Dr. Shoenthal. They come to us at a younger age and maintain their relationship with us through end of life care. "It's cool because we have 80 year olds that started with us when they were 50... it's cool to watch them grow," stated Dr. Shoenthal when discussing his perspective on his role in family medicine.

When asked what makes our practice different from others, Dr. Shoenthal elaborated on the continuum of care we provide. "We see patients when they are healthy through end of life care. That is what makes us unique. Lots of practices or doctors are departmental - we are there through the good and bad... literally. Patients like knowing that."

Dr. Shoenthal practices at both Heyl Family Practice Offices in West View and McCandless and is currently accepting new patients. Both offices offer same day appointments and a range of hours Monday-Friday.
