Originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Dr. O'Day earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in the Twin Cities. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Brigham and women's Hospital in Boston, and a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the New York University School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Carwin treats all movement disorders, including tremors, parkinsonisms, cervical and limb dystonias, and blepharospasm in addition to less common movement disorders. She has extensive training and experience with botulinum toxin injections using EMG guidance and ultrasound guidance. She is well-versed in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and DUOPA pump titrations. Additionally, she treats dementia. Their young children were excited to move to the Denver area where their father grew up to be close to relatives from both sides of the family.
