Dr. Ralph L. Mills
Overview
It was a love for sports and a desire to help others that led Ralph Mills, MD, to become a sports medicine physician. He moved to the Appalachian Highlands to complete his medical training and decided to stay because it reminded him of his hometown, Madisonville, Tennessee. As an ETSU Health clinician, Dr. Mills also serves as a faculty member at ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine. When it comes to treating patients, “Listening is paramount!” Dr. Mills says. “The diagnosis can often be made just by listening to the patient.” When Dr. Mills isn’t treating his patients, he’s busy coaching amateur baseball in Johnson City.
