"Katherine Twombley is a professor with tenure in the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC. She is the chief of pediatric nephrology and the medical director of the Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program. She is also the medical director of the Acute Dialysis Units in the MUSC Charleston Healthcare System. She is very active in the American Society of Transplantation and she is the chair of the Pediatric Community of Practice and a member of the Translational Grants Review Committee.
