Dr. McCarthy-Keith was a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and held the position of Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. McCarthy-Keith is passionate about her vegan way of life. An ardent researcher, Dr. Kanter has contributed to medical publications focusing on subjects such as monozygotic twinning in IVF, cell biology and roles in early pregnancy establishment and outcomes, and the uterine immune environment in addition to writing book chapters detailing infertility and ectopic pregnancies. She has also traveled across the country presenting topics including in vitro fertilization with preimplantation genetic testing, enhanced embryo implantation, and age-based counseling for fertility treatment.
