Dr. Clinkscales is a fellowship-trained, orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon who joined HSA in 1998 after three years of teaching full time at UC Health. After completing a degree in Religion from Davidson College (NC), he earned a medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta (GA). Dr. Clinkscales completed residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester (MN) and completed his fellowship training at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis. Dr. Golinvaux (“Dr. G”) is a Colorado native, born and raised in Denver. He specializes in disorders throughout the hand and upper extremity. He then attended the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical School where he received the William Winter MD Award for his “Outstanding Performance in Orthopedic Surgery” as a senior medical student. He continued his passion for orthopedics by completing his residency at the University of Cincinnati and affiliated hospitals. As a graduating chief resident he was selected as the recipient of the Peter J. Stern MD award “in recognition for outstanding qualities in professionalism, patient care, and teaching.” He then decided to pursue subspecialty training and completed an Upper extremity/Hand fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. During fellowship he received the Fellow’s Clinical Science Silver Award by the Wake Forest Division of Surgical Sciences for his research on nerve injuries.
