Dr. Anthony Rivera
Overview
I've always had a strong interest in science, but I knew that working in a lab wasn’t for me. That led me in the direction of becoming a physician, so I could spend more time directly helping people. I knew early-on that I didn’t want to pursue the surgical route of treating patients, I wanted to help people non-surgically. This led me to the field of physiatry/pain medicine, which offers non-surgical solutions to help patients dealing with pain. I specialize in helping patients with procedural and non-procedural treatment options. Some of the advanced techniques that I utilize include spine injections, image-guided procedures, and Botox for pain relief. Pain is very variable and affects people in different ways. I like to get to know my patients well, so I can make sure they are receiving the treatment that’s best for them. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
