Overview
Dr. Bryant Ittiara utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to treating chronic and acute pain due to a variety of conditions. He is dually trained in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. After completing a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan he went on to receive his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic medicine. He then completed his Anesthesiology residency at Michigan State University/Detroit Medical Center and then fellowship training at the ACGME accredited Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center Interventional Pain Management program.
Dr. Ittiara is highly experienced in evaluation and treatment of back and neck pain, CRPS, headaches/migraines, diabetic neuropathy, musculoskeletal and arthritis disorders, cancer pain, neuromodulation and acute pain management. He is an expert in fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided interventional procedures including spinal injections, epidural steroid injections, diagnostic nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, peripheral nerve blocks, sympathetic nerve blocks, joint injections, spinal cord stimulation and implants, intrathecal pain pumps and pump management, as well as various types of minimally invasive outpatient surgery. He personalizes treatment to each specific patient and their goals and focuses on patient education to ensure that each patient understands their condition as well as the treatment plan and what to expect from any interventional procedures.
