During medical school, Dr. Seaman was captivated by the neuroanatomy of the brain and skull and the ability to perform microsurgery in delicate areas, which is what drew him to the specialty of neurosurgery. The ability to walk with patients as they deal with overwhelming diagnoses, counsel them on the best approach, and provide a good outcome is something Dr. Seaman finds most rewarding. After completing medical school, Dr. Seaman trained at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in neurosurgery with a focus in cranial and endoscopic neurosurgery.
