In addition to this academic leadership role, he also serves as the Trauma Medical Director at BSA Hospital and is affiliated with Northwest Texas Hospital, where he leads teams providing critical care, trauma resuscitation, and emergency surgery.Dr. Nazim’s areas of clinical interest span a broad spectrum of urgent and emergent surgical conditions, including abdominal trauma, thoracic injury, hemorrhagic shock, and complex soft tissue infections. He is highly experienced in procedures such as exploratory laparotomy, bowel resections, chest tube insertion, tracheostomy, emergency hernia repairs, and wound debridement. He also has a focused interest in complex wound management, serving as a Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP), and has treated patients with necrotizing soft tissue infections, chronic non-healing wounds, and pressure ulcers requiring surgical intervention.
