Dr. Nathan Faulkner

Dr. Kovachevich (“Dr. K”) is highly trained in surgery of the hand, elbow, and shoulder with vast knowledge of complex upper extremity conditions. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and has completed an added subspecialty certification in surgery of the hand. Dr. Kovachevich has numerous publications in peer reviewed journals, and lectures both locally and nationally on upper extremity issues. He maintains membership in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), the Colorado Orthopedic Society, and Rocky Mountain Hand Society. Dr. Kovachevich also has State of Colorado Workers Compensation level II certification. Dr. Kovachevich specializes in shoulder replacements, shoulder and elbow arthroscopy and reconstruction. Dr. Larsen earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland, and completed his orthopedic residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, followed by a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the Indiana Hand Center.Dr. Larsen served in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve from 1989 to 2015, retiring as a Colonel. His military service included roles as a flight surgeon and orthopedic surgeon, leadership positions at the U.S. Air Force Academy, and deployments to Tibet and Iraq. His honors include the Air Force Special Operations Command Flight Surgeon of the Year and USAFA Clinical Surgeon of the Year, along with multiple military decorations.
