Overview
George Wittenberg, MD, PhD is a neurologist and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a professor of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of California School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine. His research interests include using transcranial magnetic stimulation and functional imaging to understand motor cortical reorganization following stroke and designing and testing new methods for neurorehabilitation.
