Overview
Before founding her own practice, Dr. Desai Solomon was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Duke University Hospital. She completed her residency at NYU’s prestigious Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology and received advanced training at institutions including the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology, The Laser and Skin Surgery Center, and St. John's Institute of Dermatology in London. She earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees from King’s College London.
Dr. Desai Solomon is board-certified and a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. Born and raised in the UK, she brings a global perspective to care, influenced by a family legacy in medicine—her grandmother Lalita was among the first women doctors in India and a respected philanthropist.
She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, radiant skin using her expertise, research, and advanced technology. Outside of work, she enjoys life as a wife and mother of two, staying active, cooking, supporting charities, and engaging with the arts. She believes in a holistic approach that connects wellness of body and mind with skin health.
