Dr. Shimizu is the director of PICC services, an acute care and trauma surgeon and a surgical intensivist in the Division of Trauma, Burn and Surgical Critical Care and Emergency General Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.Prior to her current role, Dr. Shimizu was an associate surgeon in the Division of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
