Overview
Emil Szabo, MD, specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. He cares for women of all ages, providing a wide range of women’s health services including Pap smears, pelvic exams, birth control, prenatal care and treatment for menopause and perimenopause. Dr. Szabo has over 45 years of experience and he enjoys being able to get to know his patients and provide them with exceptional care. After medical school, he completed a residency at Allentown General Hospital.|He grew up in Berwick, PA, and comes from a family of medical professionals. His mother was a registered nurse, his father was a general surgeon and one of his sisters is a radiologist.|Dr. Szabo is married and has two grown daughters who both attended Penn State University. In his spare time, he enjoys camping and spending time with his family and four grandchildren.
