Dr. Aaron D. Bleznak

Aaron D. Bleznak, M.D., is a board-certified surgical oncologist specializing in cancerous and benign breast surgery, including oncoplastic breast conserving procedures, mastectomy and sonography. He believes in individualizing breast cancer treatment based upon the type of breast cancer, other medical conditions and shared decision-making with his patients. Dr. Bleznak earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and completed his residency in surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Bleznak is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow of both the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Bleznak’s interests in clinical trials and innovation have led him to participate in national studies on breast cancer prevention, sentinel node biopsy, limited breast irradiation, breast cancer ablation and oncoplastic surgical procedures. His experience also informs his work as a surveyor for the Commission on Cancer, where he visits and assesses cancer programs across the country. Outside of work, Dr. Bleznak relishes time with his wife, their four children and four grandchildren. He also enjoys travel, reading, theater, golf and tennis.
