Dr. Alejandro Vidal Margenat, who was born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay, earned his medical degree at the Universidad de la Republica in Montevideo, where he also did his internship and residency. During his residency, he participated in an external rotation at the Cardiac Electrophysiology Service at the Clinical University Hospital in Valencia, Spain. He also completed a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Margenat, who has been in practice since 2011, is board certified as a cardiac device specialist and a cardiac electrophysiology specialist by the European Heart Rhythm Association. He sees patients for cardiovascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias and has specialized experience in catheter ablation and cardiac device implantation.
